Molelixir Informatics is currently having opening for following positions.

1. Junior Bioinformaticians:

Candidates must have Masters/Mtech in Life Sciences or Biology with bioinformatics knowledge. Candidates with NSG data analysis will be required. Python, Linux and R experience (Preferred). Practical experience in structure biology and molecular docking will be preferred.

Experience and qualifications needed

• A master's or doctoral degree in biological sciences with a focus in bioinformatics or computational biology.
• Must have expertise dealing with protein-protein interactions and conducting docking experiments with biological and/or small chemical ligands. Masters degree requires at least 2-3 years of practical experience. Considering a Ph.D. newcomer is also an option.
• The capacity to work on software applications requiring knowledge of Python, Linux and R

Job Responsibility

• Consult with researchers to evaluate issues, provide technological fixes, or choose computational approaches.
• Analyse molecular datasets for use in clinical or fundamental research, such as raw microarray data, genomic sequence data, and proteomics data.
• Examine biological specimens. assemble information for use in tasks like genome annotation, structural bioinformatics, and gene expression profiling.
• To understand molecular interactions, 3D confirmations, affinities determined by protein-protein docking, the impact of point mutations on protein folding, protein expression, and their localization, among other things, analyse molecular interactions using both proprietary and open-source data base systems. encompasses biochemical and biophysical characterisation in silico as well.
• Take active part in training, webinar and workshops conducted by Molelixir Informatics

2. Social Media Intern (Part Time)

• Candidates must have graduation or Master degree.
• Excellent familiarity with social networking sites.
• Understanding of analytical methods.
• Creative attitude
• Video editing
• Being able to multitask.
• Scheduling social media posts.
• Generating potential campaign concepts.
• Posting on numerous social media sites, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Use analytics to evaluate campaign success

3. Research Intern

Candidates must have Masters/Mtech in Life Sciences or Biology with bioinformatics knowledge. Python, Linux and R experience (Preferred). Practical experience in Bioinformatics will be required.

• Must have expertise dealing with molecular docking, refinements and molecular dynamics. 2-3 years of practical experience. Considering a Ph.D. newcomer is also an option.

• Open to participate in ongoing projects and collaboration related NGS analysis, AI and ML related projects.
• Open to work on flexible time as this work is collaborated work with DigiBiomic Canada
• Take active part in inhouse scientific publications work.
